I have created works of art for as long as I can remember. My first serious goal was to study graphic design in the mid 1970s. Photography classes were required to complete the degree. I discovered that I enjoyed that medium even more than graphic design. I have worked as a fine art photographer ever since. My work has shown in galleries and my notecards have sold in several places including the Oakland Museum of California Bookstore. Recently I have begun to experiment in different media. Stenciling is becoming a new passion. I start with an image in one of my photographs, design a motif, cut a stencil and then produce the image on a surface (most successfully fabric tote bags).
